There are 2 perspectives to the working of leather and the production of leather goods. The first one has connotations of luxury, of artisans who have inherited the talent and have consistently created items with the highest quality of raw material and superb craftsmanship. They are the production houses for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Hermes. The second perspective is that of local craftspersons whose leather artistry is influenced by ethnic traditions. This is immediately apparent in the color schemes and the embellishment practices. There is a sense of provenance with raw material being sourced from local tanneries and designs that have been handed down and replicated locally.
We have attempted to present these perspectives for any leather goods outlet, along with color schemes to be used for graphic design & web design. So here are two mood boards featuring color schemes for any fashion leather brand.
